Mapo Tofu
A popular Chinese dish from Sichuan province. “Ma” means mázi, which means pockmarks. And “Po” stands for old women or grandma. It was invented by a woman named Chen Mapo in 1862. She runs a restaurant and she used to sell mapo doufu. The main ingredients for making Mapo Tofu are tofu, ground meat, vegetables, garlic, soy sauce, and some other spices. To enrich the flavor, add some diced green onion and also some beef. It is often served hot. You can easily find this dish outside China. Easily found in Japan and Korea where the taste is varied according to locals.
Hot Pot
Hot Pot is also known as soup-food or steam-boat. There are already 30 different types of Hot pots. This is a cooking method that originated in China. The main ingredients used in cooking are meats, fish, and beef. You can also use cockles, Octopus, tofu, and egg. Vegetables used in it are spinach, carrots, potatoes, watercress, etc. As its name suggests, the making of a Hot Pot is cooked on a big fry pan. Once the concocted soup is boiled, add some meat slices and some seasonings, and spices and wait to cook properly. After cooking completely, serve it hot in a big pot as its name suggests. It tastes spicy and clear.
Crispy Fried Chicken
Out of the Eight Chinese cuisines, Cantonese cuisine is more delicious than any cuisine, the fried chicken in Cantonese cuisine is first steamed and dried, then deep-fried extraordinarily so that it remains crunchy. Firstly, it is steamed with various spices, and after that, it gets fried in sugar and vinegar, which helps in achieving crispiness. I can feel your watery mouth, you all chicken lovers just dreamt of the thought of crispy chicken nuggets. This type of fried chicken is usually consumed at most Chinese parties.
